At CC, we do academics differently. We bring innovation and student success together — the result?
The Block Plan.

The Block Plan gives you the opportunity to own your education, and to learn on your terms.
Here's how it works:

8 blocks

per academic year

3 1/2 weeks

per block

4 1/2 day

block break

Taking one class at a time gives you the chance to fully focus on the subject, learn deeply, and eliminate the stresses of taking multiple classes at a time.

Did you know? You can build your own Block Plan right now!

What will
you study?

Environmental Studies

This program will prepare you to understand your connection to the environment, to acquire the skills needed to explore scientific and human interrelationships in the global ecosystem, and to pursue different approaches to problem solving. What better place to do all that than with the mountains as an extension of your classroom?

Psychology

As a student in this program, you will not only get a thorough understanding of the skills and theories needed in the field, but you'll also gain real-world experiences through research. In fact, research is a requirement of the major!

Fine Arts

For more than 100 years, our Fine Arts Center at Colorado College has been the top cultural attraction of the Pikes Peak region. Why? Because we house world-class art, Broadway-worthy theatre, classes, and more. We even have a 132,286 square-foot museum that hosts major international traveling and ever-changing exhibitions.

Business, Economics, and Society (BESOC)

This brand new program helps students to understand the shaping of effective citizens for the global age we are entering. You will learn a blend of theory and applied skills that will set you up for a successful career in whatever field you choose. In other words: if you're interested in creating economic and business solutions to improve the world, then this is the major for you!

Southwest Studies

Here's a fun fact: CC is one of the only colleges to offer this program! Through the program's interdisciplinary approach to people, places, and landscapes you will learn about the Southwest region with the goal of creating sustainable solutions to issues such as the environment, immigration, education, and more.
