Campus Visits

    Information Session and Tour
Your visit will begin with a 45-minute info session led by a member of our admission team — your chance to get a big-picture view of life at Colorado College, plus an overview of our admission process. After that, a current student will take you on a 75-minute walking tour, giving you firsthand insight into the CC student experience, with a side of Pikes Peak views.

    Tiger Preview Days
Available on June 5, June 19, July 31, August 7. Registration will be available beginning March 2.
A half-day event specifically designed for high school juniors and rising seniors, offering you an early glimpse into life at Colorado College. Through an admission information session, a student-led tour, a student panel, and lunch in our main dining hall, you'll get an in-depth introduction to CC and our distinctive approach to a liberal arts education. More information is available on our Open Houses page

    Fall Open Houses
September 5 and October 4. Registration will be available beginning in early June.
We invite high school seniors and their families to connect with the Colorado College community during our annual Fall Open House events, typically scheduled annually during Labor Day Weekend (late August or early September) and the weekend of Indigenous People's Day (early to mid-October)! Meet students and faculty, explore our beautiful residential campus, and discover the Block Plan — our distinctive academic approach. More information is available on our Open Houses page

    Other Ways to Connect
Can’t make it to campus right away? No problem. We offer open house events and virtual visit options, and our staff members travel around the country to meet students where they are — through high school visits, college fairs, and more. Check out our Explore CC page to see what’s coming up and how you can connect with CC.

    Planning your trip
We’ve put together a Colorado Springs Visitor's Guide with local recommendations for where to eat, stay, and explore while you’re here.

      Parking and Check-In

      • Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early for parking and check-in. Parking instructions will be included in your confirmation email.
      • Please proceed directly to Cutler Hall after parking. You will be greeted by an admission staff member who will check you in.
      • If you are running late, please contact our office at (719) 389-6344.

      Group Visits
We encourage high school affiliate groups and community-based organizations to visit campus throughout the year! In keeping with our priority of serving high school student visitors on campus, we cannot accommodate requests from elementary and middle school groups due to the taxing resources needed to host an enjoyable and informative visit.

The Block Plan necessitates a schedule that is very different from most other schools. Since most of our classes meet in the morning, our student guides are unavailable because they are in class. We are typically not able to accommodate groups over the weekend, during campus breaks, or during Block Breaks. All high school groups will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our preferred schedule is Tuesday or Thursday with an information session at 12:00 p.m. and a campus tour at 1:00 p.m., leaving you to depart campus at 2:00 p.m. We do have some flexibility within our schedule should you need a different day or require an adjustment to the time. Please email admission@coloradocollege.edu with your group size and preferred day and time, and we will do our best to accommodate requests.
