El Pomar Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in the
El Pomar Scholarship
at Colorado College! The El Pomar Scholarship was created to encourage talented, engaged, and passionate students from Colorado to pursue careers in public policy and non-profit work. This scholarship is only available to students with financial need who are applying for need-based financial aid at Colorado College. Typically, this includes students with household incomes at or below around $250K per year, but please complete our
Net Price Calculator
to determine your eligibility. After that, if you are still uncertain, please
schedule a virtual appointment with Student Financial Services
for confirmation.
The El Pomar Scholarship is a full cost of attendance award, meaning it covers the annual cost of tuition and fees, standard residence hall room, and meal plan at Colorado College. This award continues for all four years of your attendance at Colorado College, as long as you continue making satisfactory progress toward your degree. In addition to the financial award, El Pomar Scholars participate in special programming through CC's
Collaborative for Community Engagement
, including leadership training and experience in non-profit operations. Each year, two students are awarded this scholarship in order to experience an exceptional liberal arts education and gain valuable hands-on exposure to the non-profit or public policy sectors.
This form is the first step in the El Pomar Scholarship application process. To give your recommender plenty of time to submit their letter of support,
please complete this form as soon as you know who your recommender will be.
